I completed my 5-year professional degree in Advertising (BFA) from Chandigarh, India, with top-honors in 1990. While still in college, I co-founded Pugmarks Design Studio, a visual communications company, in 1986 along with Anuja Lath (now my wife). In order to leverage the vast potential of the Internet, I co-founded Pugmarks InterWeb (P) Ltd. in 1996 in the early years of the web, and led the company as a CEO to make it the largest web solutions, online marketing and web hosting company in India by 2001. In 2002, I co-founded RedAlkemi to offer solutions to global customers and have led RedAlkemi to become a leading name in Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Web Solutions space.

As the CEO of RedAlkemi, I have an overall responsibility for driving RedAlkemi’s vision, strategy and growth. My passion lies in decoding search engine complexities and predicting the future shape of algorithms and the search industry. I have written several papers on these subjects, which have been widely published. My company has invested heavily in IP development and has created powerful analytical tools over cloud-computing environment (See www.SiteOpsys.com) and developed SEM strategies, which has placed RedAlkemi far ahead of the competition.

I am a TiE Charter Member, a CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) elected Council Member, have had several speaking engagements in industry conferences and have also served as a jury member in the ET Power of Ideas campaign 2009.
